Mercury Grand Marquis
The Mercury Grand Marquis is a full-size premium sedan built by the Mercury division of the Ford Motor Company at the St. Thomas Assembly Plant in Canada. The Grand Marquis is essentially a slightly more luxurious version of the Ford Crown Victoria, with a slightly higher price tag. It comes in two main trim levels; the GS and the more luxurious LS, which further divide into different packages with various options: GS (base model), GS Convenience, LS Premium, LS Ultimate and the LSE.

Mercury Mariner
The Mercury Mariner compact crossover SUV was introduced in 2005, as competition with the Buick Rendezvous and other premium crossover SUVs. It is a sibling of the Mazda Tribute and Ford Escape, although it is more luxurious than the two. Mechanically, it is similar to the Ford Escape. It also includes stylistic differences, such as a two-tone interior, European-style turn signal repeaters, monotone cladding, and the signature Mercury "waterfall" front grille.

Mercury Marauder
The 2003 Mercury Marauder was based on the Ford Panther platform which utilizes a hydroformed steel frame, front rack and pinion steering, in addition to totally revised front and rear suspension with monotube shock absorbers, the Marauder also had a naturally aspirated 4.6 L DOHC V8 with 302 hp and 318 ft·lbf torque. 2004 was the last year for this Marauder mostly due to lackluster sales, blamed by some on bland styling and an incorrect target audience. Originally, they were produced in "any color the customer desired, so long as it was black." Eventually, the Marauder was offered in silver, blue, and red but in limited quantities.

Mercury Milan
The Mercury Milan is a midsize sedan based on the Ford CD3 platform. The Milan carries unique front and rear fascia designs, but is otherwise identical to its Ford cousin, the Ford Fusion. The Milan is the replacement for the Mercury Sable, and fills the gap since the discontinuation of the Mercury Mystique in 2000.

Mercury Montenegro
The Montego replaced the intermediate Mercury Comet in 1968 and was replaced by an upsized Mercury Cougar for the 1977 model year. It was essentially a twin of the Ford Torino. The Cyclone was a high performance variant of the Montego through 1971.

Mercury Monterey
The current Mercury Monterey minivan is the Mercury variant of the 2004 Ford Freestar. It fills the gap in the Mercury lineup left after the cancellation of the Mercury Villager in 2002. Despite Mercury being a semi-luxury brand, the Monterey is a luxury minivan, whereas the Villager wasn't. Sales of the Monterey minivan have been exceptionally poor. It is likely that the model will be dropped by 2008.

Mercury Mountaineer
The Mercury Mountaineer is a luxury SUV manufauctured by the Mercury brand name, owned by the Ford Motor Company. The Mountaineer shares many features with the Ford Explorer, and in terms of hardware, the vehicles are virtually identical. [1] Externally, they are styled somewhat differently, and the Mountainer is positioned with a more upscale interior, with the Mountaineer's MSRP coming in at $1,000–6,000 more than the Explorer. [2] It has been mildly redesigned for the 2006 model year due to a new frame, but looks very similar to its previous model.

Mercury Sable
The Mercury Sable was released in December 1985 for the 1986 model year as the upscale version of the Ford Taurus. Replacing the Mercury Marquis, the Sable was available as a 4-door sedan or a station wagon. The Sable was intented to compete with the new GM H platform-based cars (e.g. Buick LeSabre, Oldsmobile Eighty-Eight). The Sable featured a unique front fascia characterized by a full-width headlamp, or "lightbar". Mercury would later adopt this design feature for its other vehicles, including the Mercury Villager, Mercury Topaz, and the Mercury Tracer. The feature would later be dropped in the mid-1990s, even though other car companies like Subaru, Pontiac, and Honda would adopt this feature. The current Honda Civic hatchback continues this "lightbar" design. The Sable became the first Mercury car to use the "Waterfall" logo.

Mercury Cougar
The Mercury Cougar was an automobile sold under the Mercury brand of the Ford Motor Company's Lincoln-Mercury Division. The name was first used in 1967 and was carried by a diverse series of cars over the next three decades. As is common with Mercury vehicles, the Cougar shared basic platforms with Ford models. Originally this was the Mustang, but later versions of the Cougar were based on the Thunderbird, and the last was a version of the Contour. The Cougar was important to Mercury's image for many years, and advertising often identified its dealers as being "at the sign of the cat." Glamorous models leading big cats on leashes were a feature of Cougar and Mercury ads.

Mercury Villager
The 1993 Mercury Villager and Nissan Quest were the products of a joint venture between Ford Motor Company and Nissan. The goal was to produce a smaller and more stylish minivan to compete in the traditional minivan market. The vans debuted at the 1992 North American International Auto Show in Detroit. The two minivans differed only cosmetically(such as a lightbar between the headlights on the Villager which was common on Mercury's in the early 90's) and shared a Nissan engine. They were built in a Ford plant in Avon Lake, Ohio.

Mercury Bobcat
The Ford Pinto was an American subcompact car manufactured by the Ford Motor Company, first introduced in 1971, and built through the 1980 model year. Like many Ford cars, it had a "twin": in the Pinto's case, the Mercury Bobcat, introduced in Canada in 1974 and then in the U.S. for 1975. Introduced in the same time frame as the Chevrolet Vega and AMC Gremlin, the Pinto was the most successful of the U.S. designs, and was the basis for the upcoming Mustang II.

Mercury Capri
The name Mercury Capri has been used for several different cars over the years. All were sold by the Ford Motor Company's Lincoln-Mercury division in North America. The origin of the name dates back to the Lincoln Capri of the 1950s. The definition of the name matches only a European island - however, the name Capri may actually be a shortening of the word "capricious" which ties in with Lincoln's Zephyr model.

Mercury Colony Park
The Mercury Colony Park was the full-size station wagon offered by Mercury between 1957 and 1991. It was related to the 1957-1991 Ford Country Squire and the 1958 Edsel Bermuda wagons as well as the Mercury Grand Marquis which the Colony Park was the station wagon version of. When the Grand Marquis was redesigned for 1992, the Colony Park station wagon was dropped from Mercury's lineup. By that time full-size station wagons were no longer popular due to the increasing popularity of Minivans and SUVs. The last full-size station wagons, the Chevrolet Caprice and the Buick Roadmaster Estate ended production in 1996. In 2005 Dodge released the Magnum full-size wagon, though it is a Sport wagon so it would probably not qualify. The Colony Park's nearest successor is the 1993 Mercury Villager minivan.

Mercury Comet
The Mercury Comet was an automobile produced by the Mercury division of the Ford Motor Company between 1960 and 1977. Changes in its design and its marketing strategy resulted in the Comet as being either classified as a compact or intermediate sized car during the seventeen years that the Comet name was used.

Mercury Eight
The Mercury Eight was the first Post War Mercury Design, which shared the Flathead V8 and running gear with its "Shoebox" Ford Siblings. The styling differed by having a dip in the front doors flowing into the front wings, grille and trim. This gave the effect of breaking up the otherwise slab sided body.

Mercury LN7
The Ford EXP and the similar Mercury LN7 were three-door hatchbacks based on the Ford Escort and Mercury Lynx.

Mercury Lynx
The Mercury Lynx is the name of a compact car produced by Ford Motor Company for its Mercury division. It was a rebadged version of the Ford Escort. In 1987, Mercury Launched the Tracer, as its compact, and in 1990, the Lynx was discontinued in favor of it. In 1991, when the Escort was redesigned, the Tracer became the Escort's twin, effectively replacing the Lynx.

Mercury M-Series
The Mercury M-Series pickup truck was produced between 1946 and 1968 by Ford Motor Company, primarily for the Canadian market.

Mercury Marquis
The Mercury Marquis was introduced in 1967 as Mercury's top-line car, similar to the Ford LTD. It was available as a two-door hardtop, four-door pillared hardtop, or the Colony Park station wagon. Early models came with the 429 in³ big-block engine. Later models got either the big-block 460 or the 400 Cleveland, and the 351M was later added. The Grand Marquis was introduced as a luxury trim package for the Marquis in 1975.

Mercury Meteor
The Mercury Meteor was an automobile model produced by the Lincoln Mercury division of the Ford Motor Company from 1961 to 1963. For 1961, the name was applied to low end full sized vehicles; for 1962 and 1963, the name was applied to Mercury's mid-sized sedans before being discontinued. Introduced while Mercury as a marque was in flux, and never a solid marketplace performer in consumer sales, the Meteor remains more an "asterisk" than as a well known Mercury product.

Mercury Monarch
The Monarch was a retrimmed version of the Mercury for the Canadian market, produced from 1949-57 and 1959-61. The make was discontinued for 1958 when the Edsel took its place, but was reintroduced for 1959 (as the Monarch II) after the failure of the Edsel. Model names included Richelieu, Lucerne and Sceptre.

Mercury Montclair
The Mercury Montclair was a full size automobile produced by the Mercury Division of the Ford Motor Company from 1955 to 1957, the M-E-L Division of Ford Motor Company 1958 to 1959 and by the Lincoln Mercury Division of the Ford Motor Company from 1964 to 1968.

Mercury Mystique
The Mercury Mystique was the Mercury version of the North American Ford Contour and the international Ford Mondeo. It was made for the 1995 model year, replacing the Mercury Topaz.

Mercury Park Lane
The Mercury Park Lane was a fullsize automobile produced by the Mercury Division of the Ford Motor Company from 1958 to 1960 and by the Lincoln-Mercury Division from 1964 to 1968.

Mercury Topaz
The Topaz was the Mercury version of the Ford Tempo. Both vehicles replaced the Fox-body Ford Fairmont and Mercury Zephyr.

Mercury Tracer
The Tracer replaced the Mercury Lynx in 1987 for the 1988 model year. It was a rebadged version of the Ford Laser model already sold in Asia and Australia, which was itself a restyled Mazda 323. The 5-door hatchbacks were built in Hermosillo, Mexico, and the 3-door hatchbacks were assembled (along with the Mazda 323) in Hiroshima, Japan.

Mercury Turnpike Cruiser
The Mercury Turnpike Cruiser was a halo model of the Mercury Division of the Ford Motor Company that was produced from 1957 to 1958.

Mercury Zephyr
The Mercury Zephyr was a compact car sold by the Lincoln-Mercury division of Ford Motor Company in the North American market from 1978 to 1983. Along with its corporate cousin the Ford Fairmont, it was the first use of Ford's long-lived Fox platform, which did not completely leave production until after the turn of the century.
