Men's shorts Shorts
are a garment worn by both men and women over their pelvic area and the upper
part of the upper legs or more, sometimes extending as far as mid-calf, but not
covering the entire length of the leg. They are called "shorts" because
they are a shortened version of trousers (as they are called in British English)
or pants (in American English) which cover the entire leg.Men's
sleepwear Nightwear, also called "sleepwear", "nightclothes",
or "nightdress", is clothing designed to be worn while sleeping. It
is generally worn otherwise only in the company of those one knows well. Some
people do not use nightwear at all, preferring to sleep nude or in some kind of
underwear. Some nightwear usage is seasonal, i.e. some persons only wear nightwear
in winter Men's
sport coats A sportcoat (also called a sports coat or sports jacket)
is a tailored coat, similar in cut to a suit coat, but less restrictive, originally
of a sturdy fabric for hunting and other outdoor sports. Men's
suits A suit, also known as a business suit or lounge suit or three-piece
suit, comprises a collection of matching clothing consisting of:a.coat (commonly
known as a jacket) b.waistcoat (optional) (USA vest) c.for men, a pair of trousers
(USA pants), or for women, a skirt or trousers A suit is generally accompanied
by a dress shirt and tie (for men), or a blouse (for women). A Hat for men, such
as the fedora and the bowler hat, in Western countries, used to complete the outfit,
but over the course of the 20th century they have largely fallen out of fashion
and are no longer worn with suits. Men's
sweaters A sweater, pullover, jumper or jersey is a relatively heavy
garment intended to cover the torso and arms of the human body (though in some
cases sweaters are made for dogs and occasionally other animals) and typically
supposed to go over a shirt, blouse, t-shirt or other top. Sweaters tend to be,
and in earlier times always were, made from wool (typically of sheep, though possibly
of alpaca or other type), however, they can be made of cotton, synthetic fibres
or some combination thereof. Men's
swimwear Men's swimsuit styles tend to be shorts, trunks, boardshorts,
jammers, speedo-style briefs, thongs, or cut-off jeans. Men's
underwear Undergarments, also called "underwear", "undercrackers",
"lingerie" (undergarments for women), or sometimes "intimate clothing",
are clothes worn next to the skin, usually under other clothes. In addition to
keeping outer garments from soiling, undergarments are worn for a variety of reasons:
warmth, comfort and hygiene being the most common. Undergarments are often used
for modesty or erotic display; sometimes both of these motivations are simultaneously
present. Men's
vests A vest is a type of men's garment. The term has different
meanings in the United Kingdom and the United States. In the UK, a vest is
an undergarment typically taking the form of a white sleeveless T-shirt (US: undershirt,
though in the US most undershirts have sleeves). When worn without anything on
top, it may be jocularly referred to as a wifebeater, due to the stereotype of
violent men as people who sit around in their underwear drinking beer.A vest may
also be worn as an outer garment in sports wear, especially in athletics. Advanced
sports vests are made from high-tech man-made materials designed to wick perspiration
away from the body and aid cooling. In the US, the word vest is used to mean what
is referred to as a waistcoat in the UK. |
