Audi A6

The Audi A6 is an executive luxury car produced by Audi. It is available in two bodywork configurations, the sedan and the station wagon (Avant). The second generation A6 was also used as the basis for the Allroad. Its primary competitors are the Mercedes-Benz E-Class, BMW 5-Series, Alfa Romeo 166, Jaguar S-Type, Lexus GS and Volvo S80.

Getrag

GETRAG is a leading manufacturer of automobile manual transmissions. The company was founded on 1 May 1935 in Ludwigsburg, Germany by Hermann Hagenmeyer as the Getriebe- und Zahnradfabrik Hermann Hagenmeyer AG. Today, the company is allied with Dana Corporation and the European Ford Motor Company but supplies transmissions to most auto manufacturers including General Motors, DaimlerChrysler, BMW MINI and Toyota. Chief competitors include Aisin and ZF.

Audi A4

The Audi A4 is a mid-size luxury car made by Audi. It was introduced in 1995, replacing the Audi 80 (called the Audi 4000 in North America) and Audi 90.

Audi 100

The Audi 100 was a mid-sized automobile from Audi that was made between 1968 and 1994. The C3 model of the 100 (sold in the United States as the Audi 5000 until 1988) was controversial in that it was targeted by CBS News as being unsafe, but it was eventually cleared by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.

Audi 80

The Audi 80 was an Audi automobile produced from 1972 to 1995. It initially shared its platform with the Volkswagen Passat, and was available as a sedan, coupé and convertible, although the coupe and convertible models weren't badged as members of the range. There were several different engine types which included the fuel efficient E, Powerful S, and diesel T.

In North America, the 80 was sold briefly as the Audi Fox and then as the Audi 4000. The Audi 90 was an upmarket version of the Audi 80 sedan.

Audi RS6

The Audi RS6 was a high-performance version of Audi's 2nd generation (1998-2005) A6, and was available as both a sedan and a wagon (called Avant by Audi). It was second at the top of the A6 lineup, above the A6 2.7T and 4.2 and the lesser S6, and was exceeded in power and price only by the RS6 Plus. It effectively replaced both the S6 4.2 and S6 Plus models of 1995.

Sports sedan

A sports sedan is a type of sedan automobile that is designed to look and feel "sporty". Originally introduced into the market to allow car manufacturers to be permitted to enter cars in motorraces with extra modifications not normally permitted in return of having them homlogated and sold to the public, one of the earlier examples was the Lotus Cortina and the Nissan Skyline GT-R PGC10. Since then, when they are not required for homlogation, like its sports car counterpart, they have been used as well to serve as the 'flagship' image car of the company.

Quattro

quattro is a permanent all wheel drive system used on Audi brand automobiles. The quattro system was first introduced in 1980 on the Audi Quattro and has since been deployed to most of the models that Audi sells. The name is also a registered trademark of Audi AG.

Audi A2

The Audi A2 is a premium supremini produced by Audi from 1999 to 2005. The last cars left the Neckarsulm plant in July 2005.
